Turning 25

Turning 25

I turn 25 this month!

As I wave goodbye to being 24, I am again reminded of the fact that I really am growing up.

I'm engaged to be married and saving up for a mortgage deposit for our first house - I'm also a fully paid-up National Trust member with an Emma Bridgewater addiction. I'll be honest, I've always been old before my time...

I'm looking forward to keeping things simple this year: drinks and delicious food on the day with Mr MM and friends, followed by a few days away with my family {Of course, gin will feature throughout}.

I've asked Mr MM to tone things down on the present front too, as I'd much rather the money goes towards our upcoming wedding and honeymoon. However, I thought I'd share with you a couple of things which are on my birthday wish list - you know, if you're looking for ideas...

^ {Can you believe that I haven't seen the new Beauty and the Beast yet? It's an outrage!}

I can assure you all that I'm still taking note of my 24 life lessons from last year {especially numbers 8 and 18} and will continue into the next quarter of a century {ahhh} with a great big smile on my face. As the wonderful Shirley Bassey once said -

You don't get older. You get better.
