Get ready for the summer with Avon!

So this isn't the first time I've declared my love for Avon products (remember My Night Time Beauty Tips post?), and it certainly won't be my last - but I can't help sharing with you some of their bestsellers which will be seeing me through the summer months.

People can sometimes be a bit snooty about buying from Avon, which really frustrates me as the products are of a high quality - and yes, they are affordable! Not only do I buy lots of make up from them, but I've bought jewellery, accessories, bath products, hair products and things for the home in the past. If you've not bought from Avon before, you can either order online, or find a representative near you who will deliver to your door for free (which is great!) Find your local rep here.

It's so hard to choose my favourites, but in this post I have reviewed some of the top items which I will undoubtedly taking with me on holiday.

1. Avon Mega Effects Mascara. £10. Available in Black, Brown/Black & Navy.

This mascara makes my lashes look soooo long, it's incredible. It's not like any other mascara I've tried (partly due to the staggering results I get every time I use it!),  as it has a very different wand shape.

As you can see, the wand looks like a paintbrush! The pink  'hinge' in the middle means you can adjust how you use it each time, and you click it to bend the wand as much as you like. It may look a bit complicated, but it's so easy to use once you've had a go.

I wear this mascara in the Brown/Black shade - it gives my eyes a pop in the morning for work, but also looks great when I'm going out in the evening.

2. Avon Solutions BB Gentle Beauty Balm. £10. Available in Light or Medium.

This is a new addition to my make up bag, and I'm very pleased with it! I bought this beauty balm in 'Light' which is an ideal match for my skin tone. I unfortunately do suffer with quite bad skin (especially when I'm stressed, which I have been recently!) so sometimes concealer isn't quite enough and I need more coverage. But then I get into a vicious circle, as heavy, greasy foundations don't make my skin any better!

This BB cream however is so light on my skin, it makes a nice change - and it doesn't have a funny smell to it, which I swear a lot of foundations and creams do... It gets rid of any red patches and blemishes, and gives me a nice and even complexion.

Try one out from Avon, and if it turns out to be the wrong shade for you, or not quite the right product, you can return it within 90 days, even if you've used it. Now that's good customer service!

3. Avon Tinted Lip Care. £7. Available in Bronze, Red & Pink.

Before I discovered this product, I was always torn between wearing pretty lip glosses, which didn't really help with my dry lips, or lip balms which did a great job of moisturising but didn't give my lips any colour. This Tinted Lip Care ticks both boxes! I've got this balm in Red and I love it.

You can see from my picture that I use it quite a lot... I can't go away without it! It's so good for popping in your handbag and putting on just before you go to work or go out for the day, as it gives your lips a natural shine. I personally don't use lip products which have glitter in them as I think they feel a bit 'crunchy' on your lips (!), and I really can't stand gloopy lip glosses (my fine hair which I alluded to here just sticks to it straight away) But this lip care does nothing of the sort, you'll be pleased to hear!

I could continue recommending Avon products to you forever (I swear Avon MagiX Face Perfector IS actually magic) but I'll leave it there for now... If any of you have tried these products and love them as much as I do, or can't go without some other Avon items, I'd love to hear from you.

"Ding-dong, Avon calling!"
