Cornish Wardrobe

Good evening, everybody! It's a Friday night, it's the weekend, and my boyfriend's currently cooking beef burgers and sweet potato fries for dinner... Life is good.

Exactly one week ago today, we were driving down to deepest, darkest Cornwall for a mini holiday with my parents. Just before I left, I shared with you some of the things I'd packed for my trip - and I purposefully left out my clothes, so I could write a separate post on my holiday wardrobe.

So, here's what made the cut...

I have to admit, I definitely chose pieces which I felt comfortable in, as I knew there would be lots of walking around and travelling!

My favourite item has to be the Crew Clothing GBR reversible hoody (£70, available from crewclothing.co.uk); with the option to go for plain navy or nautical stripes, this is quickly becoming one of my can't-live-without layers. I am a huge fan of Crew... My boyfriend and I definitely are getting slightly addicted, and it won't be too long before we have to admit that we have a Crew problem.

I'm also in love with my Azuni London Athena small drop earrings (£25, available from azuni.co.uk) because not only do they look classy and sophisticated, and somehow seem to go with whatever outfit I put on, but also because a certain style icon of mine also has these in her possession...

Yes, yes, the Duchess of Cambridge has been seen wearing these earrings many times, and if they're good enough for royalty, then they're good enough for me.

My regular blog readers won't be surprised to see that I slipped into my case an Eyeko London skinny liquid eyeliner (£12, available from eyeko.com) - it was back in June that I first raved about this dream product.

One thing I didn't feature in my collage at the top but most certainly came with me to Cornwall were my Joules muck boots (£54.95, available from joules.com).

I love Joules products; they're always of a very high quality, and these boots not only look fab but are extremely practical too. When we went for a walk on the beach on the Saturday morning, the damp sand didn't bother me at all - nor did the mud as we strolled through the fields on the way back to our remote accommodation. Yes, wellies are useful, as are my slightly masculine and bulky walking boots - but these boots look stylish!

I hope you enjoyed taking a peek at what took up room my suitcase (I love my UGGs to bits, but they are a pain to pack). I'd best go - I can smell sweet potato fries and my concentration is fading fast...
