Baby Maggie May is well and truly on the way, and it is such a joy to be able to finally tell our family, friends and loved ones. It still feels quite surreal, and for once I'm a little speechless as to what exactly to say!
Mr MM and I have known for a long time that we want to have children and be parents, and the time finally felt right {after 10 years together!} Even so, when we saw the positive pregnancy test we were both in shock for a few minutes, and kept wondering if we'd interpreted the result in the right way - of course, it's pretty obvious really whether there is a line present or not, but we were so surprised that we couldn't stop staring at it...
We really do appreciate how lucky we are, and how fortunate we were to get pregnant quickly. I am such an unbearably impatient person that I was very restless during the waiting game; so I'm sending all my love and crossing my fingers and toes for the lovely mamas-to-be out there who are hoping for exciting news soon.
I plan to share exciting bump updates along the way, and I'm looking forward to telling you about our journey throughout pregnancy to becoming mum and dad {eek!} I promise to be honest {as I always am} and I've already got a very truthful - and maybe slightly over-sharing - post about the first trimester coming up soon. Thank you for supporting us both up until now - you were there when we got engaged, again when we got married, and here we are, expecting our child. We can't wait!
